The 'Dear Diary's

Struggling with Copyrights as a Blogger

The Struggle is Real

Honestly speaking, I’ve been delaying my 2020 Trip to Turkey blogposts because of one problem; I’m afraid of my photography being stolen. I mean, if we talk about this practically, I’m just another teenage blogger, who does photography for fun but it’s definitely disheartening, to say the least, when you’ve put in a lot of effort into something, only to find that someone else decided to steal your work and place their name on it. I’ve seen this happen to a lot of people and I did not want to be on the receiving end of such dismay.

My Plan

I guess I’m not going to let that fear stop me from blogging about amazing experiences that I want to share. Sure, this is a real problem and one never knows when some unethical person may decide to make them a victim, but like I said, I won’t let that stop me. This was a pretty difficult decision to make and hopefully, I won’t face this problem in the future.

I have tried watermarking my pictures but it’s just so hectic doing that for every single picture I post; it’s just impractical, it ruins the pictures (in my opinion) and the editing does affect the quality.

Final Note

The pictures and content on this blog are mine unless captioned otherwise. However, in case of any ambiguities regarding credits not given where they are due, feel free to inquire. Thank you for coming to my Ted-Talk.
